Free Printable Fashion History Illustration: Edwardian Mother and Child in Summer Outfits 1

Mothers hold their children's hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.
Unknown

An Edwardian lady and her young daughter out for a walk in their summer outfits. The mother is dressed in a lovely light chartreuse outfit, with full billowy sleeves and plenty of embroidered lace embellishments as well as multiple layers of ruffles. The little girl is wearing a pink and white pleated dress, also adorned with a profusion of lace; her dandelion-yellow boots are adorable, as is the miniature pink umbrella she is carrying in her right hand.

This colourful fashion illustration was originally published in a 1904 issue of La Mode Illustrée. You can download the free high-res 5" x 9" @ 300 ppi JPEG without a watermark for mixed media collage art, crafts, a greeting card project or junk journaling here.
