This head-dress consists of a spray of wild roses and berries, with a long drooping vine and a coloured ostrich feather drooping over the front waved hair. The upper part of the portrait is enclosed within a round frame that forms a halo around the lady. I have included a portion of the printed page where this illustration was initially published.
